IMPORTANT CHANGES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 2!), 11.15 p.m. London. November 29. Vice-Admiral S. F. Bridgeman succeeds Admiral Sir .A. K. Wilson as First Lord (if i'u! Admiral! \\ Vice-Admiral Prince Louis of Battenberg and Captain Pakenham replace Vice-Admiral Sir G. Egerton and Captain C. K. Mudden as Lords of the Admiralty. Vice-Admiral Sir G. A. Callaghan is appointed to the command of the Home fleet, and Rear-Ad-miral Cecil Burney to the command of the Atlantic fleet.
It is presumed by these changes that Mr. Winston Churchill desires to begin the reorganisation of the navy, including the creation of a naval war staff with advisers of recent sea experience. The King offered Admiral Sir A. K. Wilson a peerage, but the latter was allowed to decline the honor for personal reasons.
