A conference representing lfto,oo Yorkshire trades unionists at Bradford protested at the attempt to repeal the Trades Disputes Act, and condemned , .e use of the military in the strike and to establishment of the proposed spc. .1 constabulary. The speakers declared the Repeal Act would result in a revolution and the railwaymen would immediately go on strike. n It was suggested that members belonging to the Territorial force resign and that workmen refuse to join the Army. If working men kept their sons out of the Army, the ruling classes would be beaten.
