The Minister of Internal Affairs wrote asking which riding of the council would be most suitable for the merging of that portion of the old Fitzroy Town District that the New Plymouth Borough Council were not taking. It was resolved that the district mentioned should be annexed to the Moa Riding, and that the Old Hospital road be placed in charge of Foreman Chefi'ings of the Moa riding, and that Foreman J.
