Oil well strikers at Hull overturned trollies laden with oilcake, and stoned the police. Several were injured, necessitating a charge of mounted police, the strikers being dispersed. RAILWAYMEN'S GRIEVANCES. ALMOST UNANIMOUS FOR STRIKING Received 21, 10 p.m. London, November 21. Ninety per cent, at TafT Yale and OR per cent, at Burton-on-Trcnt balloted against the Railway Commission's report and in favor of a strike. Rliymney and Cardiff are similarly militant. The Liverpool and Newcastle branches of the general railway workers recommended the rejection of the report and strike. BIRMINGHAM STRIKE SETTLED. Received 21, 11 p.m. London, November 21. The Birmingham Small Arms Factory strike has been settled on a basis of rearrangement of the hours and various wage concessions.
