ANTI-MILITARISM.
THE C'HIiISTCITUIICH INCIDENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Monday. In connection with the expulsion' of anti-militarists from the Agricultural Show grounds, it is reported' that the Peace Council has taken action against the A. and P. Association for a breach of contra ct. Replying to TI. A. Atkinson, who was ejected from the show grounds for distributing anti-militarist literature, General Godley explains his connection with the affair. He says:--it is true T objected to the dissemination of anti-mili-tarist literature concurrently with military competitions, and pointed out the ineongruiy and illogicality of the two things taking place side hy side, but I left the matter entirely in the hands of the committee, and my connection with it ended 1 there."
