James' "Golden Eagle," 3hrs llmin, 2; 11. Patterson's "Airship," and B. Davy's "Loyal Blue," 3hrs I2niin 25sce, 3. The second event, flown from Wellington under very trying conditions, was the Champion Interval, each member sending one bird and ten minutes intervening between the liberation of same. Boulton's •Llta,'! the winning bird, covered the distance in Bhrs 54min, and was the only bird home on the day. 11. J. Moverlev's Ngaroma" secured second place, homing the following morning, and R.
