METHODIST SYNOD.
THE NE TEMERE DECREE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Hawera, Last Night. The Wanganui district Methodist Synod this afternoon adopted a resolution, by 18 votes to 5, expressing its disapproval of the "ne temere" decree resolution. It was- also resolved that the conference bring under the notice of the Government the urgent need for making provision for the registration of births and deaths of the Maori people.
