| PRIVATE HOTEL DESTROYED. I By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Wednesday. A two-storey building, known as the St. Helier Hotel, at St. Helier's Bay, l was destroyed by fire with the contents early this morning. The building was I owned by Hancock and Co. and occupied Iby Brinsmend and Dickenson as a store and private hotel. The insurances were £I4OO on the building and £3OO on the furniture in the Commercial Union Office.
