Surfaceman Giddy reported that he had been blinding new mei.il put on Te Arei road by Mr. Mcntefiore, with screenings from stone-erusher: had carted pipe.* to Karaka road, and had been getting out metal for Manntahi East and Richmond roads.
The, following contracts wore let: Messrs Jolmson and Jenkins, 40} els, Askworth road, at 7s per yard, carting 70 yds Richmond road at 2s 6d per yard, and 20yds Manutahi East at Is fid per t | yard; Haskell and Co.. o'Oyds Brown road, at 5s !)d per yard, 30yds Manutahi West road at 43 M per yard, ,50yds Kelly road at 58 per yard. 70yds Lower Tc Arei road, at 4b per yard, 100 yds Tate road at 4s 9d per yard, 100 yds Wortley road at 4s per yard, and carting for repairs to Upper Te Arei road at 2s <sd per yard; E. Richards, carting metal to Cross and Waitara roads, :N .:ml ts per yard. Accounts amounting to C 45 were, passed for payment and the Board adjourned.
