Mr. Claude E. Webb, ahead 0 f the Clarke & Meyncll Proprietary, Limited, which will open a season here* with "The Woman in the Case" on .Monday nest, was in Xew Plymouth last night. Mr. W. Bigelow, who has been ,onnected with the Xew Plymouth staff of Messrs. SargOod, Son and Ewen for some years past, has received notice of transfer to the Auckland branch. The date of hi 3 departure from Xew Plymouth has not yet 'been definitely rl.w'd, however. Mr. Bigelow tow made many friends during his stay here. His activity in connection with the West End Bowling Club, of which he is secretary, has made him an almost invaluable official there.
