There's a beautiful rose show to-day in Messrs. Ambiirv Bros.' window'. Though artificial, the roses of all kinds and colors are an unusually fine window attraction, and are very tastefully displayed. By kind permission of Messrs. Sole Bros, the Garrison Band will give a concert on Sunday afternoon next al their beautiful grounds, "Aotea." A lot of work has been done during the winter. and the grounds are now surpassingly beautiful, and well worthy of in-.-peetion. Arrangements are being made for 'busses to run to and from the grounds, eif which announcement will be made later.
Our editors have been pointing out "What Xew Plymouth wants." and yet the question is not solved. We are soon to have a gentleman among us to give his solution. He is the Rev. G. KnowlesSmith. who .is lately from Paisley, Scotland. and to his experience there he has had a short experience of Duneelin.
