The stock was judged to-day. .In the cattle classes championships were awarded as follow?:- A. Chamberlain, for Slim-thorn bull, ''.Monarch"; 11. E. B. Watson's .Jersey hull "Brighton Tiwylish"; John I'arlano's Ayrshire bull j "Beauty's Best"; John- Parlane's Ayishiri; cow "Bonnie .Mary of Giowan Bank." In draught horses .Tas. Patrick's entire "Baron Bold" and mare ".Maggie Young" w»re awarded champion tickets. In, the sheep classes the champions were as .follows:—James Stevenson, Merino ram over 8 months; same exhibitor's Merino ewe (o\-:r 10 months). A. W. Rutherford, jun., "Merino ram over 28 months. Douglas Myland, ewe over lti months'. R. and ,T. Reid's English Leicester ram "Roy Jim." Edwin Ka.l lanes IK-.st .English Leicester eiro, with lamb at foot; same exhibitor's English Leicester ewe over Ui and under & months with lam.b at foot. Jas. Ross' Border Leicester ram over 28 months; name exhibitor's Border Leicester ewe over 28 months with lamb at foot. New Zealand and Australian Land Co.'s Lincoln rant over 28 months. W. C. Ladbrooks and Sons' Romney Marsh ram IForetop" over 1-8 months. Johns Bros.' Southdown ram of 28 mouhts; same exhibitors Southdpwh ewe over US momthi with tomlfat foot. ,L, White's Steoplihire ram over j(| and under 28 mduths. Johns Bros.' Shropshire ewe. . Sir Geo. Clifford's half-bred l ewe over 10 months with lamb at foot. The display of motor-cars was the largest seen at this show. Owing to objection being taken to the distribution of anti-militant literature, one of those distributing it had to be. forcibly removed by the police, a committee having decided that the distribution of the literature was undesirable.
