«. I CONFERENCE AT CHRFS'K'HUKCH. By Telegraph—Press Association. ! ('hristchureli, Last Night. At the Xew Zealand Poultry Associa- ■ lion conference to-day a paper on the ! "Export Trade," by 'jlr. Brittan Bull, of Auckland, who was unable to he present, was read by the chairman. The conference, after discus-fling the question of fostering an export trade, decided that the Government be approached with a view to sending a trial shipment of eggs to test the Canadian market. An address on "Local Trade" was given by Jlr. A. E. Kent, who pointed out the necessity of growers looking more ; closely to the improvement and pushing forward of the sale of poultry and eggs in the Dominion. Mr. J. M. In the afternoon the delegates visited the Utility Egg Club's pens at Papanui.
