THE GLEBE MURDER
A POLICE THEORY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, November 8. The police hold the opinion that more than one was concerned in the Trevaseus murder. One theory is that deceased, in purchasing old gold or precious metal, unwittingly came into contact with thieves and plunderers who, on the strength of the knowledge gained in the course of business, planned the crime. THEORIES AND CUTS. Bi"T NO MURDERER. Received S. 10.30 p.m. Sydney, November 8. The police are informed that Trevascus left home after nine o'clock on Tuesday morning, but are unable to confirm the information. Should it prove to be true it will remove suspicion from the man who called early on Tuesday. Nothing fresh was discovered to-day, but the police are endeavoring to connect a few faint clues in their possession, but are meeting with little success.
