The Lancashire County Cricket Committee asked the Marylebowe Club to endeavor to secure the exemption of cricket clubs from the eompul&ory insurance of players under the Insurance Bill. VICTORIA v. SOUTH AUSTRALIA. Received 5, 5.5 p.m. Adelaide, November 5. There was a perfect wicket for the Victoria-South Australian cricket match, Victoria ini the first innings put up 265. Seitz made 75, Smith 48, and Ransford 55. Whitty took two wickets for 52, Wright three for 62, Crawford four for 70. South Australia, in the second innings, have lost two wickets for 29. URENUI CLUB. Urenui are again entering a team for the cup competition. The country team is sanguine of giving a good account of themselves. They have still got the redoubtable pair of bowlers, Pausett and Blundell, and a strong change to assist them, and though perhaps weak in bat-' ting will certainly be strong in bowling and fielding.
