SAUNDERS' .PICTURES. It might fittingly be said that the new programme to be presented at Whitelcy Hall to-night is an "all star series." First and foremost in order of merit is another of "Selig's" African romance studies, entitled "Captain Kate," in which there is introduced a series of sensational incidents, showing lions and leopards in the wikls. The arrangement of the animal scenes is so good that one almost imagines that it is the real thing. Huge lions stalk about a few yard.* from the camera, ami the absorbing question of the moment is: Where is the cameraman? One readily admits that he can't be far away from the horrid reality, and that he is experiencing a few genuine thrills in the process of transferring Leo to his film. The latest Pathe Gazette figures prominently, as does also "Melle Hippolita D'Hellas" in her "Silhoutte dance," the rage of London and Paris. Two novelty items.are "Six Brompton Girls" and' "A Monocycle Display." Amongst the many good items is a Vitagraph comedy, "Eggs ami Babies," a. 6oreamer of the first order. The new programme will prove one of the most delightful the management has so far sub« mitted.
