DR. MAWSON AND HIS AEROPLANE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Adelaide, October 31. Dr. Mawson has decided not to use the aeroplane for flying in the Antartic. He will use it solely for sleighing purposes. Watkins, the aviator, is returning to England, keenly disappointed. A LABORERS' COMBINE. Melbourne, October 31. A conference of various laborers' unions throughout the Commonwealth decided to amalgamate. The organisation will start with n membership of 25,000, and have a uniform ticket at ten shillings a year.
