TRIPLE TRAGEDY.
MAN SHOOTS TWO WOMEN. BURNS HOUSE AND ATTEMPTS SUICIDE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Received 25, 1 a.m. Sydney, October 24. A tragedy has occurred at Glen Mom, near Tamworth. Lawrence Lawless, a farm laborer, shot Mrs. Cover and her daughter. The daughter died almost immediately, and the mother is in a critical condition. The Covers' house was burned down, and the body of the daughter incinerated.
Lawless afterwards shot himself in the chest, but it is not thought the wound is dangerous. He has been arrested.
