A STEAMER DISABLED.

TOWED INTO WAITARA. The s.s. Tainui arrived at VVaiiara on Monday evening in tow of the Mauukau, which picked the disabled steamer up six miles this side of Cape Eginoivfc (says the Waitara Mail). Captain Jensen reports that the trouble wag the loss of the propellor, it having snapped off sixty miles from Wellington. Thu weather was beautifully fine, and (hero was not even a swell. Sail was hoisted, and progress was made, but on reaching Cape Egmont the wind absolutely died away. Signals were flown, and the information was picked up at the lighthouse, and transmitted, hence the sending of assistance.
