THE SHIPPING TROUBLE
THE BREEZE'S OFFICERS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin. Last Night. The steamer Breeze arrived from the Bluff this morning. The officers informed the press representatives that when they aisccrtuined the 'officers were leaving other vessels-, tliey felt in honor bound to leave the Breeze. After the vessel discharged at the Bluff they asked to be paid off, but the capita in could not do so. They expected to receive instructions to leave the ship at Dunedin, but realising the difficulty of securing other officers, the local agents got permission from the Merchant Service Guild for the officers to remain on duty until reaching Lyttelton, the vessel's home port. The Breeze sailed at 5 p.m. for Tiniaru and Lyttell t#R. THE PUTIKI. Tiniaru, Last Night. , It is under-'tood that the officers of the Putiki will lake her to Wellington tind then leave again.
