Wellington, Last Night, The twenty-fourth annual meeting of delegate* to the New Zealand Amateur Kowing Association was held last night. The balance-sheet showed assets £sS°l(is •M, and no liabilities, with a credit lialancc at the batik of £53 12s 3d. The number of clubs affiliated is 52, with a total membership of 2010, an increase respectively of one and 13. Twenty-four reiraiUs "'ere held during the year, comprising 177 races and prize money was I paid totalling £I4OO. ' The New South Wales Association ad- ] [ vised that any man who competes for prize money, whether it goes to bin club or to himself, U not eligible to compete in inter-Slate events. The championship regatta for IDU-12 was allocated to Otago. The championships will be held in February on Lake Wailiola. The M'orrtan' was granted an honorarium of £ls ]f>s. The action of the council in ruling Unit a boat builder building racing boats is a professional wa< endorsed. .Sir James Mills was elected president. |
