Samuel, Post-master-General, at Belfast declared tliat the Government was unflinching in its resolution to carry Home Rule. -The rights of the Ulster Protestants would be amply safeguarded. Mr. Redmond, at Manchester, said the Nationalists dad not demand a co-ordi-nate Parliament, such as Ireland had before the Union, hut a Parliament subject to tho supremacy of Westminster. A LIBERAL GAIN. London, October 7. In the North Tyrone election Mr. T. Russell (Liberal) gained the seat with 3104 votes. Mr. Herdman (Unionist) polled 3056 votes.
