SUPERANNUATION TOR EMPLOYEES By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At the harbor boards' conference, the following resolution was proposed: "That the Government be requested to include harbor board employees in the Civil Service superannuation scheme, harboi boards to make such contribution to the fund and have such representation on the board as shall be deemed to be proportionate to the interests involved." The following amendment was proposed and carried: "That in the lieu of powers given under the Local Authorities Superannuation Act, 1908, it is desirable that the Government should set up annuity tables in conjunction with the national provident tables to which employees of harbor boards and other local authorities may contribute with such assistance from such local authorities as may be determined 1 for the purpose of providing a uniform taible and comprehensive system of superannuation."
