ABOARD A BOAT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday. When the tramp steamer Waekuve ar-, rived from Auckland this morning the captain reported that at 11 o'clock last night two Chinese seamen had a dispute, which resulted in one of them, Wong Bhee, being stabbed on the head and right arm. His assailant, carrying his knife with him, ran along the deck until the captain covered him with a revolver. The chief officer then closed with him, relieved him of the knife, and assisted to put him in irons. The wounded man was removed to the hospital. At the police court to-day Ah Wong was charged with assault, and remanded until October 11.
