Mount Lyell miners decided to cease to-day. A conference of representatives of master builders and building unions agreed to recommend the importation of 525 skilled workers. Received 20, 1 a.m. Melbourne, September 24. The whole, of the miners at Ml. Lvell struck yesterday. The mine is idle. HARSHLY TREATED MEX! Adelaide, September 23. Laborers at U\e Government reservoir have, struck because they are not allowed afternoon tea. TIIE LITIIfIOW STRIKERS. Sydney, September 23. Encouraged by the support they are receiving, the Lithgow strikers show no signs of yielding. Sir. Iloskins maintains a similar attitude. The blast furnaces are working at three-quarter capacity.
