SOUTH AUSTRALIAN BUDGET. Received 22, 1 a.m. Adelaide, September 21. In the Assembly the Treasurer delivered his Budget. The revenue for the past year "is .-€4,181,372, and the surplus £273,000 in excess of what was expected. The estimated revenue for the current year was .€4.311,542, and the surplus £8822.

CONVERTIBLE CRUISERS. Received 22, 1 a.m. Melbourne, September 21. In the House Mr. Kelly moved that action be taken to discourage the trading to Australian waters of foreign vessels capable of conversion into cruisers. The debate was adjourned till Thursdny.

NEW SOUTH WALES PARLIAMENT.

Sydney, September 21. In the Assembly the proceeding's were comparatively quiet. Mr. McGowen outlined the business for the session.

'Mr. Wade expressed dissatisfaction at the Premier's vagueness regarding the date of the dissolution.

Mr. McGowen replied that the Government would carry on until it was successfully challenged.
