ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
SUICIDE OF A CLERK. By Telegraph —Press Association. Napier, Thursday. John Shera, -,ige<l EO, clerk in the New Zealand Insurance Company, was found dead in the company'-) office this morning, shot through the heart by a doublebarrelled gun, both cartridges of which were discharged. Deceased formerly lived in Auckland, and was in a South African contingent, rising from the position of private to lieutenant.
