The question of installing the silent totalisator was discussed, and it was reported that arrangements were .being completed to have the machine installed in time for the Cliristmas meeting. The architect has been instructed to have the present tote house altered in such a way as it will house the new machine. The secretary was instructed to write Messrs. Neylon and Spriggins thanking them for past services to the club in the matter of working the tot.e and advising them that the club was now installing a machine of its own.
