Very heavy weather has been experienced all day, but the barquentinc Carla, which was abandoned on Monday night, is still riding to her anchors, and, m far as can be judged from the shore, has suffered no damage other than the wreckage of her head sail gear. Tlie weather seems to be moderating to-night, and there is reasonable hope that tk* Carla will be brought safely to„port.
