The Fitzroy Flower Show will be opened this afternoon at 2 p.m. The leading growers are exhibiting blooms of all kinds, and it is expected that the display will be one of surpassing beauty. Competitions in table and mantel-piece decorations. Besides the flowers thert will be other attractions during the afternoon and evening. Tea and supper may ibc had on the premises. To-day and Friday Morey and Son are holding their first display of new spring goods. Judging by the number of cases opened up ex s.s. Tainui this show should be a record show. The firm lms been exceptionally busy during the last week marking off and displaying the goods, and all will l>e in readiness for the show to-dav. All are invited to attend.
