DIED AT 110

NEW ZEALAND'S OLDEST MAN. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston N., Last Night. Mr. Henry Burling, of Waikanae, the well-known centenarian, died yesterday afternoon at the residence of his son. Deceased had suffered for about five weeks ifroni bronchitis and a paralytic stroke. He was said to have reached the unusual age of 110 years and had lived under five sovereigns, beginning with George IV. He remembered incidents of the battle of Waterloo, and was a married man past 30 when Wellington was founded. He is survived by thirteen children.
