THE SEPTEMBER CALENDAR. The Supremo Court sessions opens tomorrow, Wednesday, before Mr. Justice Sim. The calendar is a<s under:— CRIMINAL. Rex v, Nicholas Albert Maddren (Eltham), arson, at Finnerty road. Rex v. George Henry Clorry (Eltham), carnally knowing a girl under 10 years. FOR SENTENCE. James Percy Williamson, alias Williams, for theft of a bicycle at Midhirst, and forging and uttering a cheque at Eltham. William Renata, theft of a cheque form, forging, endorsing, and uttering it at Rahotu. CIVIL BUSINESS. Quin Bros. v. South Taranaki Winter Show Co., Ltd., and Robert William Bond and Bond's trustees, claim under the Wages Protection and Contractors' Liens Act, 1908, for £4BO 10s 7d. Adjourned from previous sessions. Bennett and Sutton v. the same defendants, for £303 12s 4d, a similar claim, also adjourned from last sessions. Joseph Henry Slight v. Charles.Arnold and Lucy Hannah Arnold, claim for ,€249 9s Od, being refund of deposit of £SO, paid under agreement f«r wile «t land and stock, and £2"O 13s 2d for loss and damage suffered by the rescission of the agreement. Public Trustee v. Thomas Hastie and Jessie Eva Hastie, claim for £3014 7s and interest owing under mortgage, and for further sums expended on account of defendant in rent, taxes, etc. Frederick George Smith v. Elizabeth Jane Theobald, specific performance of an agreement to exchange properties. William Humphries v. The Westport Coal Co., Ltd., claim for £IOOO for personal injuries sustained through being knocked down and run over by defendant's horse and cart. (A similar claim appeared on the list of ibusines* for last sessions, but the ease was discontinued and a fresh writ issued.
George Morton v. Blennerhassett and Sons, claim for £250 deposit held as stakeholders in respect of an agreement for sale and purchase which has not been carried out. ' .Walter Revell Colson James v. the executors of the will of Mary James, originating summons of an order under part 2 of "The Family Protection Act. 1908." Plaintiff claims that his wife made a will leaving , him inadequate means of support, and seeks an order for £3 a week or for such amount as the Court thinks fit. DIVORCE.
