EXCITING TIMES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 17, 5.5 p.m. Ottawa, September 16. Nominations of candidates for elections throughout the Dominion have closed. The Premier (Sir Wilfrid Laurier) was nominated for two constituencies. The Russell County nominations developed a free fight. The ambulance attended the injured. SIR W. LAURIER ELECTED UNOPPOSED. Received 18, 1 a.m. Ottawa, September 17. Sir Wilfrid Laurier was elected unopposed for the Soulanges seat. Mr. Leduc, his Nationalist opponent, withdrew.
