N.Z. BUTTER FOR IRELAND
JOHN HOLMES ON THE JOB. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright London, September 14. Mr. Holmes, New Zealand Trade Commissioner, has visited Ireland and arranged for shipments of New Zealand butter during the Irish winter. He states that the trade has hitherto been hampered by Danish competition. He is now in England interviewing importers of meat, kauri gum, tallow, wool and grain. Sir William Hall-Jones states that Mr. John Holmes, who is busying himself with New Zealand produce markets, is not officially connected with New Zealand trade.
