OMATA. (From Our Own Correspondent.) A very successful concert was held in the Omata Primitive Methodist Church on Tuesday night. Though the night was dark: and rain threatening, yet a large number of people gathered together to enjoy the splendid programme that was given. The following is a. list of those who took part: Mr. Fenton. Miss Crockett, Misses George. (2), Miss E. Williamson,, Mr. Pearson, Miss C. Mace, Rev. R. J. Liddell. Miss M. Hart, Miss S. Penwarden, Mi«s Crompton. The piano was kindly lent by Mr. Huse. Short addresses were delivered by the Revs. Liddell and Sharp. After the programme the ladies of the church handed round supper, and (hen the meeting was brought to a close with the Doxology and Benediction.
