ATTACK OX HEARST'S NEWS- ' PAPERS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Ottawa, September 11. Nationalists at Montreal are fiercely attacking the part Mr. Hearst's newspapers have played in the reciprocity controversy. Mr. Bourassn, at a great demonstration, denounced Mr. Hearst as a coward, .. on account of the latter failing to accept, an invitation to attend a meeting and debate the whole question. Mr. Bourassa declared that Mr. Hearst's pronouncements were ridiculous misstatements, couched in boorish language. The chief complaints against Mr. Hearst is the free circulation of his papers in Canada to endeavor to influence votes.
