Hostrowisky, a well-known Russian writer, has been arrested iu connection with the recent theft from the Ixjuvrc of Phoenician statuettes, which were restored through a Paris journal, which Hostrowisky represented in negotiations with the police. It is believed he is also connected with the theft of La Gioconda.
