OBITUARY.
•MRS. THOMAS KLNG. The .death occurred yesterday at New Plymouth of .Mrs. Kin-, relict of the Lite Mr. Thomas King, at the ripe age of il.l years. The deceased lady came to New Plymouth in the ship "Amelia .Thompson" in 1812. The late Mr. King was the lir.st manager of the Bank of New Zealand in New Plymouth, and he afterwards farmed .successfully at Ma* ligorei. Mrs. King was one of our most respected settlers, and enjoyed the respect and esteem of all. Dr. Truby King, .Messrs Newton King and Henry King, and Mrs. F. YY. Marchant (of Timarii) comprise her family. Mrs. King was a sister of the late Mr. Richard Chilman, and aunt of the late Mrs. T. Wilson.
