Beef. The market has advanced. State of New Zealand ]>eef on hand l are light. New Zealand hinds 3%d, fores) 2'/ 2 d. Butter.—The market is firm, with a good Mlcmand. Supplies are likely to foil over. Australian 120s, Danish' 1325, Siberian 118s.

Cheese. The market remains firm. Supplies of English cheese will be short, on account of the dry weather. New' Zealand cheese, (SOs.

Hemp. The market is lifeless, and quotations are nominal.
