Epsom Lass sneaked up on the rails, and won on the post. Heads separated the first three. Seventeen starters lined up for the Welter, St. Bees winning reisilv. Nothing but Euroco was backed for the Hurdles, and after Stourton had lod for a mile Eiiroco went to the front and won hard held in very fast time. Oxton ran off, and Irish Rifle finished last. Altcnr and Gold Battery were the only two backed in the Final Scurry. This pair got away first, and left the others. Altcar cried enough at the bend, and Gold Battery won comfortably from Axis, who finished' at a great pace. St. Bees paid the biggest dividend of the day, and ConIneeticut. nimitangi and Epsom Lass paid good prices.
