At the annual meeting of the Employers' Federation, it was stated that there had been 7<» main and 12 subsidiary strikes in Australia for the year ended June 30. The president declared that unless tho Labor Party was better advised it might do irreparable damagr to the conntry. Employers were harassed in every conceivable direction. Great efforts were now being made to place them in subjection to 'the union bosses, which had been strenuously resisted.
