A FIGHT TO A FINISH. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright,. Sydney, September 4. All the engine-drivers except one are now out at the Lithgow works. Mr. Iloskins expects to replace them to-day. Strike pay was distributed on Saturday. Speeches were delivered at meetings which, while urging the observation off order, showed a strong determination to fight to a finish. Mr. Iloskins is eijnally determined. MEMBER CLAIMS DAMAGES. Received 5. 12.1 sa.m. I Sydney, September 4. The first writ a.s an outcome of the Speakership trouble was issued to-day on behalf of Mr. Perry, who claims £IOOO damages for assault against the Speaker and the Sevgeant-at-Arms. The action is the outcome of the Speaker ordering the Sergeant-nt-Amis to Itvins" Mr. Perry back to the House after he had left without making an obeisance.
