RIFLE CLUB EUCHRE PARTY. On Tuesday next the recently formed New Plymouth Defence Rifle Club is holding an inaugural euchre party and dance in the Brougham Street Ball. The arrangements are in . the hands of a capable, committee, of which Mr. F. J. Hill is secretary, and the club is determined to make it a success. The prices of admission have been fixed very low, and ijtKid prizes, are to be competed for by the euchre players, whilst, the dancers' pleasure Ls to be equally well catered for.

Instead of doing so he celebrates his success .by a heavy carousal. Whilst he is intoxicated -one of his companions commits a vnu.dcr, and hy means of*trickery causes Dare to believe that he has committed it whilst drunk. Hare escapes, but the thought of the cold-blooded murder causes him intense agony of mind, which is vividly depicted on the screen, as is also his relief when the actual murderer is discovered. During the three nights that tM-i picture is on view the price of admission will be one shilling to nil parts of the house, the heavy expense of securing the drama prohibiting the possibility of charging sixpence.
