Weston, 170—scr. 170. A. Bewley, 177—0—171. For players with a handicap of over 10, J. W, Haslam takes first prize with 190-22—108, and S. Burgess second with 212-40—172. On Saturday next a Ngamotu team will play the Waitara Club at Waitara. The bachelors have given two prizes for competition by the senior and junior lady players of the Ngamotu Club. It is proposed to play two medal rounds, one to-morrow and one on the following Tuesday, the players with the lowest aggregates to win. TARAHUA CLUB. The following is the draw for the first round of the club championship, to be played by Saturday, September 3: Pcrham plays Law, Douglas plays Grey, List plays Hill, Baily plays Broome. The following foursomes will be played on Saturday next on the Tarahua links:—Miss E. Putt and Neal v. Miss Furlong and Law; Miss F. Putt and Goudie v. Mrs. Marks and Grey; Miss White and J. G. List v. Miss Rennell and Laurie; Miss Avery and Hempton v. Miss Gilbert and Cooke. On the Tarahua links last week Ron. Bnilv put up the particularly fine score of 82 for 18 holes. The last nine holes were done in 39.
