Apropos of the wages question, the newspapers publish details of the cost of housekeeping, which show that groceries and green groceries have increased by 25 per cent, in fifteen years. RED FUNNEL ENTERPRISE. Received 27, 5 p.m. London, August 20. The Union Steam Ship Company, of New Zealand, lias purchased the West India mail liner, Port Kingston, for £IOO,OOO.
