A Brisbane cablegram reports the death of Mr. Keogh, MJj.A., suddenly from heart failure.
The New Zeaand Times, writing of the return of the Premier and party, says: "All the members of the party are well, and look in the best of health. Sir Joseph Ward has benefited greatly by the rest on the voyage. Any discomfort through unfavorable weather was more than counterbalanced by the attentioil the passengers received from the ship's officers and crew, and it was quite plain that both the Prime Minister and Sir John Findlay landed in the very best of health and spirits. Holding beautiful bouquets of flowers which came from New Zetland gardens, Lady Ward and Lady Findlay chatted in the Huapehu's saloon of the eventful time they had experienced in the Old Land. 'Ten weeks there, and such a busy ten weeks,' declared Lady Ward. 'I never thought we could get through all the engagements which we faced. I looked at the list each morning with apprehension, but ended each day with a feeling of pleasure that we liad seen so much that was wonderful, and had received such kind treatment.' Of the outstanding features of the visit the ladies agreed in grouping the wonderful na<val display in the Solent —miles of silent warships—with the Coronation ceremony in Westminster Abbey, a ceremony which worked up impressively to the great climax, the crowning of the King. 'But, after all, I'm glad to be hack in New Zealand,' declared Lady Ward earnestly. 'lt is so good to see the faces of one's friends again.'"
