WAITARA NEWS

(From Our Own Correspondent). On Friday morning an elderly man named Jackson, for the past three or four weeks working as a gardener for Mr. M. Jones, was found dead in bed. He had retired on the previous evening, apparently in good health. A post mortem examination made by Dr. Claridge showed the cause of death to be heart disease, and at an inquest held before Mr. W. F. Jenkins, J.P., a verdict in accordance with the medical evidence was returned.
