Hares were very keen, and there were only three kills out of eleven courses. J. Hannan's Bijou scored a .popular victory in the Waterloo Oup. Waterloo Purse.—Semi-final: Pleasant Surprise 5 V. Lord Cardiff 0; Lifeline a bye. Final: Lifeline 8 v. Pleasant Surprise 0. Waterloo Plate.—Semi-final: Cumbersome 10 v. Dawn 0; Curiosity a bye. Final: Curiosity 4 v. Cumbersome 1.
Waterloo Clip.—Semi-final: Bijou 5 v. Itufus Dawes 3; Millhank a bye. Final: Bijou 3 v. Millbank 0.
