RED FUNNEL FLEET
ANOTHER STEAMER LAUNCHED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The new steamer Maunganui, built to the order of the Union Company by the Fairfield Engineering Co., Glasgow, was successfully launched on Thursday. The christening ceremony was performed by Miss M. Ritchie, daughter of Mr. J. M. Ritchie. The Maunganui is to leave Home in October, and is due at Melliourne about the middle of December, when she will enter the inter-colonial service. She will bring a large number of passengers for Melbourne and Sydney on her maiden trip.
