The hares were very keen, and out of ten events there were six "No courses." The following are the results. For the Purse, Pleaaant Surprise beat Headlight; Yaro beat Polar Star; Daylight beat Slipper; Nell Kilgour beat Gold Quartz;, Champion Proof beat Amber Tips; Foghorn beat Mason; Cardiff beat Talebearer; Lifetime beat Romany Lass; Lord Cardiff beat Duke Esperanto; Star beat Pluto. For the Plate, Queen of the Bells beat Respite; Cumbersome beat Victoria; Curiosity beat Black Dart; British Grenadier, an accidental bve; Dawn beat Nightshift. For I,he Waterloo Cup, Davstar beat Maximised; Bijou beat Hazel; Millbank beat Deerfoot; Sir Minto beat Pirate Captain; Rufus Dawes beat Empress Delight. Finals will be run to-morrow.
